Ghanaian student adjudged “Outstanding Graduate Student” at Illinois State University

 
Ghanaian student of the Graduate Faculty of Illinois State University’s (ISU) School of Communication in the United States of America, Divine Narkotey Aboagye, has been adjudged  outstanding Graduate Student in the University.
The award is given annually to recognize a student who has demonstrated excellence in teaching, research and service.
Divine Narkotey Aboagye graduated from the University of Cape Coast (UCC), Ghana with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communication Studies (First Class Honors) and minor in Philosophy and English Studies in 2016.
Divine is currently a second year master’s student specializing in rhetorical studies.
Research interests and areas of the student include Rhetorical Theory, U.S. Presidential and Transnational Political Rhetoric, Critical Cultural Studies, Neo-Marxism, Psychoanalysis, Afrocentricism and Communication Pedagogy.
