Ghana’s ProGen FC Advances to Quarter Finals of 2024 Gothia Cup

In a thrilling display of skill and determination, Ghana’s ProGen FC secured their spot in the quarter finals of the 2024 Gothia Cup by defeating IFK Tidaholm in a decisive final playout match at Bravida Arena today by 2:0.

ProGen FC, representing Ghana with pride in the Under 18 category, emerged as the top team in Group 18 after accumulating 10 points and scoring 6 goals throughout the group stage. This impressive performance placed them ahead of Sweden’s IFK Skovde FK, who finished second with 7 points, closely followed by FBK Karlstad and Germany’s TSV Altenholz, both with 6 points each.

Looking ahead, ProGen FC is set to face off against USA’s Sala FC in the upcoming quarter finals, promising another exciting matchup on the horizon.
