Gov't to fast track Sandema-Fumbisi road to aid agriculture- Amoako-Attah

The Minister Designate for Roads, Kwasi Amoako-Atta says plans are far advance to fast track the completion of the Sandema- Fumbisi Road.

He revealed that the Ministry of Agriculture is also bringing specialised machines for rice production in the area.

According to Amoako-Atta, the completion of the Road will help promote agriculture in the region.

Speaking to the Appointments Committee of Parliament on Tuesday, February 16th, 2021, Kwasi Amoako-Atta said the economic development of this country revolves around road development and that the Akufo-Addo led administration has roads at heart.

He noted that over the last four years, a lot of work has gone into improving the state of roads in the country, although there is still more needed to be done.

“No other Government has been able to put together the year of roads agenda like Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has done. We need to do more however to improve the current state of roads in the country. Over the last four years, a lot of work has gone into improving the state of roads in the country and we admit there is still more needed to be done”, Kwasi Amoako-Atta told the appointment committee.
