The Happy Bloomers School celebrated Ghana’s 69th Independence Day with an inspiring art and cultural event themed “The Journey,” emphasising both national progress and the school’s own growth since its inception.

Speaking during the celebration, Mrs. Christiana Attakumah, Proprietress of Happy Bloomers School, urged pupils, staff, and members of the school community to reflect on the lessons of Ghana’s journey from independence to the present day.

“The theme of our celebration this year, ‘The Journey,’ encourages us to leverage the successes of our past to pursue greatness in the future,” Mrs. Attakumah said. She highlighted the nation’s achievements across various sectors, including economic development, sports, and education, while acknowledging the challenges that have shaped Ghana’s path.

She also recounted the remarkable growth of Happy Bloomers School since it was established in 2019 with just one pupil.
Today, the school boasts a population of over 160 students, reflecting steady progress and a commitment to providing quality education.
