Ghanaian Gospel Musician, Great Ampong has stated that legendary highlife musician Charles K. Fosu, popularly known as Daddy Lumba, is the greatest highlife musician of all time.
According to him, although Daddy Lumba initially came to meet the likes of Nana Ampadu, who excelled in highlife music, Daddy Lumba has produced numerous meaningful and relatable songs.
Most importantly, he asserted that the youth continue to play and enjoy Daddy Lumba’s tracks despite his age, proving he is worthy of the nickname “goat.”
Great Ampong made the comments on Atinka TV’s Kick Off show with Edward King Akufo.
He said, “He deserves that goat title because he has written and sung numerous songs.”
