“How is this possible?”- Koku reacts to claims of exhuming Mills’ body

Koku Anyidoho

The Chief Executive Officer of the Atta Mills Institute, Mr Koku Anyidoho, has expressed shock over some allegations being leveled against him by brother of late former President of Ghana, John Evans Atta Mills.

Samuel Atta Mills, brother of the late President Atta Mills is accusing Koku Anyidoho of tempering with the grave of his brother.

These allegations are in line with the decision of the aide of the former President to renovate the ‘Asomdwe Park’ where the mortal remains of the Atta Mills were buried.

Samuel Atta Mills claims the current arrangement goes against customs and traditions of the Mills family.

“It is not proper to allow the NGO to make changes to the grave without recourse to the family.”

“Apparently a group calling itself Atta Mills Institute that the family does not recognize and Coastal Development Authority have gone to break this grave of President Evans Atta Mills…why would you go and touch somebody’s grave without informing the family?… Who has the body now? That is the question I want to ask Ghanaians,” Samuel Atta Mills said at a press conference.

Reacting to the allegations in an interview on Atinka FM’s AM Drive with sit-in-host Nana Yaw Fianko (Mr Speaker), Mr Koku Anyidoho refuted the claims adding that it is humanly impossible for him to temper with the body of his late boss.

“Asomdwe Park is being built and by the kind grace of God President Akufo Addo will commission it on Sunday. John Mahama refused to build it, President Akufo-Addo  is building it, that’s all and it’s for the republic of Ghana,” Koku Anyidoho told Nana Yaw Fianko (Mr Speaker).
