Ghanaian Dancehall Artiste, Dhat Gyal says she has never looked up to any Ghanaian musician before and even after venturing into music.
Although she seems to love old and /or renowned Highlife Artistes, she does not look up to them either.
The young mentioned that she used to listen to Nana Ampadu, Obuaba J.A Adofo when she was a child but growing up, she realised she could not take anything concrete from the contemporary musicians because their songs lacked a lot of words.
Speaking with Nana Adwoa Annan on Atinka TV’s entertainment show, Juke Box, Dhat Gyal indicated that she rather took inspiration from foreign Artistes although she did not mention their names.
“I don’t think I look up to any of them. I like all of them because I listen to their songs but I don’t look up to any of them,”Dhat Gyal said.
