Ghanaian afrobeats and high-life singer-songwriter, Dennis Nana Dwamena, popularly known as KiDi has announced his comeback after going off social media and active service for about two months to take care of his health.
It was rumoured that the “Sugar Daddy” had suffered a mild stroke.
However, just when the rumours surfaced on social media, his management rebutted it that KiDi was not suffering from a stroke.
His Manager who reacted to the rumours rather called on Ghanaians to pray for KiDi.
In a comeback post by KiDi, he admitted that he took some time off work and social media to take care of his health.
He appreciated the love received while he was away.

However, he also addressed those who spread false stories about him, saying that although he does not want to give them attention, he had to make the world know that those rumours about having a stroke were false.
In a post on social media, accompanied with a video of himself sipping some tea by a river near a serene environment, kiDi wrote,”A little under two months ago, I made the painful decision of cancelling my tour to take care of my health that included taking time off social media.
In that time, I have been overwhelmed by the outpouring of love from family, friends, fans and the brands I work with. You all made me feel incredibly loved in this difficult period and I can’t appreciate you enough.”
He continued,”Unfortunately, a few bad actors took this as an opportunity to spread false stories that got a lot of you very concerned.
While I do not want to give it any more attention, I want to categorically address that those stories were false.”
KiDi who was glad to be back also stated that,”I am glad to be back to doing what i love most; creating music and performing for you. Thanks for sticking it out with me. Love, KiDi.”
