I'm prepared to serve PPP again as running mate – Brigitte Dzogbenuku

The Progressive People’s Party (PPP) 2016 Running Mate, Miss Brigitte Dzogbenuku, has  said that she is ready and prepared to serve  in the same capacity in the upcoming  election.
According to her, she still has the qualities to drive change and believes that she is the right person to stand behind the PPP Flagberer who is yet to be nominated for the 2020 election.
Speaking on Atinka TV’s Flagship Morning Show, Ghana Nie, Hosted by Nana Owusu Nkrumah, she said as a woman who believes in women empowerment, she underscored the need for women to strive to occupy bigger positions in the country as the men have always done, adding that she will collaborate with the NDC’s Running Mate, Jane Naana Opoku to bring development to the people, especially women.
“Women are not their own enemies as people use to say,” Brigitte Dzogbenuku said.

Experience
Miss Brigitte Dzogbenuku hinted that she was frightened the first time she was called  to become running mate to PPP as a woman.
According to her, she did not have any plans to come into politics but was very active on social media Facebook etc and helped her to follow and know what was happening in the country.
In the 2016 general elections, Miss Dzogbenuku said her choice as running mate also helped her party-PPP to place 3rd in the 2016 general election.
On the issue of dirty politics and the use of indecent language in politics, she noted that she enjoys politics and also love clean politics but hate negative political games.
Counting down to 2020 general elections, the onetime Miss Ghana admitted her party is down and broke due to the current situation its leader finds himself under the NPP government.
Touching on the current EC boss Jane Mensah, she said the EC Boss is doing her best yet needs to improve especially in the ongoing voter registration exercise and matters arising.
She called for an alliance between the smaller parties to whip the two political parties ie NPP and NDC to save Ghana.
