One of the teenagers involved in the killing of a 10 year-old boy, Ismael Mensah Abdullah at Kasoa for money rituals has confessed that they killed a pregnant woman before killing the 10 year-old.
Although the first accused person confessed to the killing, his counterpart denied being involved in any killing.
The suspect made the revelation at the Kaneshie District Court presided over by Her Worship Rosemond Douduaa Agyiri on Monday, August 16, 2021.
According to him, the victim’s ghost was hunting him that he will kill him (Suspect) if he does not speak the truth, hence the revelation.
Two teenagers were arrested by the police in Kasoa in the Central Region, for their alleged involvement in a murder said to be related to money rituals.
The teenage boys, 16 and 18 years respectively, are said to have lured their victim, a 10-year-old boy identified only as Ishmael, into an uncompleted building and reportedly killed him.
They are said to have hit him with an object which resulted in his instant death.
The incident happened at the Kasoa suburb of Lamptey Mills on Saturday, April 3, 2021 between 5 and 6pm according to sources.
But some residents in the area said a fetish priest the suspects had contacted had told them to bring human parts for rituals.
The two who are juveniles, Felix Nyarko, 15, and Nicolas Kwake Kani, 18, were officially charged for the murder of a 10-year-old Ishmael Mensah Abdullah on April 2, 2021.
While in court, the Suspect murderer said, “Myself and Nicholas have killed a pregnant woman in the past but not in this case. We have killed a pregnant woman before. If Nicholas said he won’t tell the truth, I will speak the truth.”
Meanwhile, they are to appear at the High Court on September 20 for trial.
