Atinka TV’s Afia Kwarteng and Nana Adwoa Annan honoured at Ghana Youth Awards

Atinka TV’s News Anchor and Host of popular telenovela Chatroom shows, Chandra Nandini and Tumhari Pakhi, Afia Kwarteng Asamani, popularly known as Afia Nahii has been honoured at the just ended Ghana Youth Awards.

She was recognized for her unique craft in the broadcasting fraternity.

Aside being a Newsreader, Afia Kwarteng, who is also known as “Authentic Mama” is the parliamentary correspondent for both Atinka TV and Atinka 104.7 FM.

The citation for the award for the host of popular telenovela Chatroom show, Tumhari Pakhi, read,“For your enormous contribution and to the media fraternity as a television presenter inspiring many Ghanaian youth to follow their passion and pursue careers in the media. The Ghana Youth Awards team says Ayekoo”.

Atinka TV’s Nana Adwoa Annan, Host of Juke Box was also honoured at the Ghana Youth Awards.

She was also recognized for her immense contribution to the entertainment industry.

The Ghana Youth Awards is an initiative by WCAMF & ARENA Events, which aims at acknowledging the growth, achievements and leadership skills of exceptional young Ghanaians making significant impact in the societies as well as the nation.

The awards night took place in Accra on Friday August 12,2021, where other personalities in the media were also honoured for their contributions to their field of work.

Some of the showbiz personalities and media personalities who were also honoured on the night include Neat FM’s Ola Michael, Socrate Sarfo, and Gospel musician Rose Agyei.

Ghanaian Actor and Musician, Frank Naro says he took a break on his acting career because he was spiritually attacked.

According to him, he was attacked while on set and had to leave to take care of his life.

Frank Naro said this on Atinka TV‘s entertainment show, Juke Box, hosted by the ever beautiful Nana Adwoa Annan.
