Uncle of 14-yr-old girl, who has been allegedly sodomized by a 60-year-old man, says the suspect has confessed having anal intercourse with the victim for the past two years.
A 60-year-old man, Job Kwansah Mbia, is currently in the custody of the Kasoa DOVSU for allegedly having anal intercourse with a 14-year -old girl.
Speaking with Atinka News’ Jackson Gaisie, the victim who lives with her parents in the same neighbourhood with the suspect, revealed that he has had anal sex with her on countless occasions.
According to her, the act happens anytime she enters the suspect’s room to watch television.
She added that after every act, the suspect gives her GHS5.
“Anytime I go to his room to watch TV, he has anal sex with him. It happens twice every day. He gives me GHS5 after every act… I have difficulty passing stools and even if I try, it’s very painful “, the 14-year old told Atinka News’ Jackson Gaisie.
Speaking on Atinka FM’s AM Drive with host Kaakyire Ofori Ayim, the victim’s uncle , Frank Owusu explained that although the act had been going on for the past two years, the family got to know during the burial of the victim’s mother in January 2021.
According to Frank Owusu, it was during the burial that the family realized the 14-year old could not walk well.
He stated that the family called the girl and inquired reasons behind her inability to walk where she revealed that 60-year-old Job Kwansah Mbia had been having anal intercourse with her.
“I quickly marched the entire family to Job Kwansah Mbia’s house and confronted him. Job Kwansah Mbia on sensing danger confessed to having anal sex with the girl for the past 2 years and pleaded for mercy. My niece told us that the man told him to drop out of school so he takes care of her. I struggled with him and it took the intervention of 2 CID men to separate us”, he said.
