Lufart Atinka Radio Icon: I discovered my new talent on platform- 1st runner-up

First runner-up of the maiden edition of the Lufart Atinka Radio Icon, King Hayford has recounted how he discovered his new talent on the platform.

King Hayford became the Ist runner-up after putting up amazing performances throughout the competition.

He received a GHC3,000 cash prize plus a 6- month working contract with AMV.

Although he entered the competition as a host of Drive Time, he discovered he could do sports and that won him the second position in the competition.

Speaking on Atinka TV’s morning show, Ghana Nie with Bernard Lav, King Hayford noted that his specialisation was drive time but discovered sports and was also advised by the host of the show, Raman Fada to pursue sports presenting.

He said when he took it up, he got attention from a lot of people, and some encouraged him to continue with the sports.

King Hayford said even though he was tense at the grand finale, he was able to deliver to expectation.

He expressed excitement over the whole journey, noting that they have already signed the contract to start working at Atinka Media Village.

He said despite coming far in the show, he was up to learn on the job and as well was ready to deliver to the public.

For his part, Kingskid was also named second runner-up after putting up spectacular performances throughout the show.

He also got GHC2,000 cash prize plus 3 -month working contract.

Kingskid said he was determined to deliver, especially at the grand finale and he did exactly that.

He also entered the competition with sports but at the grand finale, he did DJing and news casting.

He said he used just one day to learn DJing but became perfect.

He said although they are going to learn on the job, adding that they are going to deliver to expectations.
