John Dramani Mahama, the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has pledged to reinstate the licenses of banks that were unjustly revoked during the financial sector cleanup.
In addition to this commitment, Mahama announced plans to rationalize fees at the nation’s ports and implement strategies to stabilize the Cedi against the Dollar. These promises were made during the launch of the NDC manifesto on Saturday, August 24, in Winneba.
“We will rationalize port fees and charges, and introduce measures to stabilize the cedi and the broader macroeconomic environment,” Mahama emphasized.
