The Public Services Workers Union of the Trades Union Congress, Ghana Meteorological Division has called of its nationwide strike .
Staff of the Agency embarked on a nationwide strike on Friday over poor working conditions.
However, a meeting between representatives of the staff, the union and the Ministry of Communication on Saturday calmed down tempers.
The suspension of the strike was communicated in a statement released by both sides on Saturday afternoon.
