Atinka TV’s Presenter, Nana Afia Oforiwaa, has won the Best TV Show Host Female at the just ended Medimafo Ghana Arts and Entertainments Awards 2024 (MGAEA).
She had nominations in two categories, Best News Anchor Female and Best TV Show Host Female which she won.
The Medimafo Ghana Arts and Entertainments Awards, organised by Konamah’s Entertainment is to recognize hard work, integrity, innovation and the consistency of those playing vital roles in the entertainment and arts industry.
Aside from Nana Afia Oforiwaa’s nominations, Atinka TV was also nominated as best TV Station of the Year.
Nana Afia Oforiwaa joined Atinka TV in 2019 as an online reporter and has over the years gathered more experiences including reading News on TV, hosting programmes amongst others.
She is currently the host of Atinka TV’s relationship and social programme, Kisses and Roses, co- host of Atinka TV’s morning show, Ghana Nie, news anchor and online reporter for www.atinkaonline.com.
After receiving the award, she expressed her excitement and gratitude for the recognition, saying that it has encouraged her to do better.
She encouraged all to put their best in whatever they do and urged viewers and listeners to continue watching Atinka TV.
She thanked the organisers for recognizing her efforts.
Nana Afia Oforiwaa also thanked Atinka Media Village for giving her the platform to explore and showcase her talent in the media space.
She thanked President of the Ghana Journalists Association (GJA), Mr Albert Kwabena Dwumfour for giving her the opportunity to be part of the AMV family and mentoring her.
Nana Afia Oforiwaa Thanked the Managing Director of Atinka Media Village Akwesi Korankye Nkyi, the News Editor, Isaac Nuamah Yeboah, all colleagues and friends at AMV and all who have contributed to this feat.
