Mischievous persons speculating false ‘WASSCE leakage’ reports – GES

The Deputy Director for the Ghana Education Service (GES), Dr. Kwabena Tandoh, has asked the general public to disregard false leakage of West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) .
Widespread reports on leakage of some papers in the ongoing WASSCE exams went viral on social media.
The Ghana Education Service (GES) has denied the  alleged leakage  of the said papers.
Speaking on Atinka FM’s AM Drive with host Ejourba Gyasi, the Deputy Director for Ghana Education Service (GES), Dr. Kwabena Tandoh, said the act is meant to frustrate and lead candidates astray while discrediting the Council in the process.
Deputy Director for the Ghana Education Service (GES), Dr. Kwabena Tandoh, noted that no examination papers have leaked and that the reports are aimed at demoralizing the students even before the examination commences.
He asked the general public to disregard the reports and compare the alleged exam papers with original exam papers of the students to determine the truth.
“ We are technocrats and we know what we are about. I can confidently say that reports on purported leakage of exams are totally false. The reports are being peddled by some mischievous persons which are meant to frustrate these students. GES is solidly behind WAEC and we can confidently say that none of the papers have leaked.
Asked why persons will fabricate stories suggesting the leakage of the WASSCE exams, Dr. Kwabena Tandoh noted that ill-minded people are capable of doing everything.
