MOGMusic becomes first Ghanaian to join Grammy Academy

Award-winning Gospel Artist from Ghana, Pastor Nana Yaw Boakye, commonly known as MOGmusic has been accepted into the exclusive Grammy Recording Academy membership.

The Grammy Academy is a prestigious educational institution for artists, producers, recording engineers, and other music industry professionals.

It is renowned for its Grammy Awards, which honour achievements in the music business of globally recognized songs and music.

He is now the first gospel musician from Ghana to be accepted into the school.

The Grammy Board gave its approval for the well-known Ghanaian gospel performer’s entrance to the academy.

In response to the information, MOGmusic commented, “This is a dream come true. “This is the pinnacle that every musician strives to reach. I’m happy to be reintroducing Ghana to the world.”

He added that his acceptance into the school has inspired him to work harder as a gospel musician.

When he released his most recent album, named “Koinonia Phase II,” earlier this year, he completely changed the course of his musical career.

Famous gospel musicians Pastor Donnie McClurkin, Pastor Kojo Frimpong, Ps Shadrack Mensah Kwesi, Joey Saff, and Kobby Salm are featured on eight tracks on the new CD.

The songs include African Praise ft. Ps Shadrack Mensah Kwesi, Covenant Keeper, Glorious, Holy Chant, We Cry Yahweh ft. Pastor Kojo Frimpong, Be Lifted Medley ft. Donnie McClurkin, and Yesu ft. Joey Saff and Kobby Salm.

Numerous songs from MOGmusic have been released, including Be Lifted, Elohim, Living God, and many others.

He is a pastor at the Royalhouse Chapel International in addition to being a singer and songwriter for the gospel music business. He has won best male vocalist of the year at the VGMA twice in a row.
