Most businesses and institutions around the world close at night. The busiest streets in the world, such as Times Square in New York, Oxford Street in London, Rue Wellington in Canada, Pennsylvania Avenue in Washington go to “sleep” at night.
There may be some form of limited commercial activities at night by some business entities such as pharmacies, gas stations, etc, but this cannot be described as the kind of 24 hour economy JM and the NDC have proposed.
JM’s 24-hour economy has not been thought through. It can not be implemented in any form in Ghana. It is not plausible and not worthy of our attention.
The strategy of the NDC and JM is to hoodwink the people with this phantom policy. It is delusive and intended to scam the population. No wonder JM and leading spokespersons of the NDC can not even explain the so called 24hr economy.
JM is not an alternative. He supervised Ghana for 4 years, six months, utilizing the unexpired term of Professor Mills. This means JM had an additional six months for his first and final term, but he imcompetently managed the country.
DMB is our best bet. He remains our strong foot. He will surely deliver as president.
Let’s win together.
