New terminal introduced at Achimota bus station

Matcom Executive Travels has introduced a new terminal at the New Achimota bus terminal to provide exclusive services to commuters from Accra to Sefwi Wiawso in the newly created Western North Region.  

The terminal is expected to provide commuters with executive passenger waiting area, free luggage space all at a cost of GHc 50 per passenger per trip.

At the launch on April 2, at Achimota bus terminal four (4), the Managing Director of Matcom Executive Travels, Nana Prempeh Okogyeabour said the service was introduced as a niche market to provide commuters with some level of comfort and luxury with only day Travels which begins loading of passengers 6:00 a.m., Monday through Friday, and later on Saturdays.

“With the opening of the Sefwi Wiawso bus Station at the Achimota bus terminal, we hope to bring to our travelling public a new dimension to travel with less stress in accessing our major terminal and also to provide convenience to persons connecting from Accra to other Sefwi Wiawso,” he stated.

He observed that commuters who would use the Sefwi Wiawso terminal at the New Achimota bus terminal would have two options on their travel plans, either to choose the pre-booked buses or on the go.

According to Nana Prempeh Okogyeabour, that day marked another significant milestone in the business transformation process of Matcom Executive Travels to commuters from Accra to Sefwi Wiawso.

He explained that this would help Matcom Executive Travels, to expand its operations across the country.

Our leadership in matters of health, safety, security and the environment will also be embedded to ensure customer safety and comfort when they come to New Achimota bus terminal to board these buses,” he noted.
