NPP removes billboards of aspirants ahead of Conference

Reports reaching Atinkaonline.com indicates that all billboards and posters of aspirants of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) have been removed as directed.

The ruling New Patriotic Party(NPP) has scheduled December, 18 to December 20, 2021, to hold its National Annual Delegates Conference in Kumasi, in the Ashanti region.

The Conference, according to the party leadership will be held in strict compliance with standard guidelines and Covid-19 health protocols.

Prior to the conference, persons aspiring for several leadership positions in the Party and have erected billboards within the greater Kumasi area had been asked to remove them by midnight on Wednesday, December 15, 2021.

Although most of them have removed their billboards, it was heard that some billboards remained untouched.

Speaking on Atinka TV’s morning show, Ghana Nie with Ekourba Gyasi Simpremu, Agyenkwa FM’s Reporter, Osofoba Kwame Afrifa, who is in Kumasi said posters of aspirants been have been removed at Ejisu.

However, he said he was not sure if the supporters will adhere to the directive until the conference is entirely over

On vaccination cards, he said vehicles were moving round in Kumasi to educate the people about covid-19 vaccine and assuring them that there will be provision of vaccine at the entrance so that those who have not been vaccinated either decide to take it there or leave.
