A final-year student of O’Reilly Senior High School (SHS) has tragically lost his life after being stabbed by a fellow student during a heated altercation on school grounds.
Eyewitnesses, including students who were present at the scene, reported that the victim, identified as Edward, was repeatedly stabbed by his colleague after a confrontation between the two escalated into violence.
What initially began as a heated exchange of words quickly turned physical, with the situation spiraling out of control when weapons were drawn. The altercation ended in tragedy when Edward was fatally wounded.
In a desperate attempt to save Edward’s life, a group of students hurriedly left the school premises to find a taxi to transport him to the hospital. Despite their brave efforts, Edward succumbed to his injuries shortly after arriving at the hospital.
The school authority is yet to speak on the issue.
