The National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress, Elder Samuel Ofosu Ampofo has said the party’s Manifesto is going to rescue the nation from the failed governance under the Akufo-Addo led administration.
He was of the belief that the NPP government has not been able to deliver its promises and therefore the NDC’s Manifesto will transform the country when the party is voted into power again.
Speaking at the launch of his party’s Manifesto in Accra Monday, Ofosu Ampofo lamented over the failed promises of the NPP-government and also the abandoned projects which were started by the NDC.
He urged the public to read the full details of the manifesto to know what the NDC plans to do for the country.
He said the Manifesto is for the people, by the people and of the people.
Ofosu Ampofo also explained that the reason the NDC calls the Manifesto ‘The People’s Manifesto’ is that the party executives went to the length and breath of the country to consult the people on their needs.
He was also of the belief that the manifesto will help the party win the 2020 election, urging the people to vote for the John and Jane tickets.
