Pedro leaves chelsea

Spanish forward Pedro has left Chelsea, the club has confirmed on their official website. The former FC Barcelona winger has ended a five-year spell with the Blues as he leaves the club on a free transfer.
Pedro, who is currently recovering from a dislocated shoulder, is expected to sign a multi-year contract with Italian side AS Roma.
Pedro joined Chelsea five seasons ago from Barcelona and the winger has enjoyed a successful spell at Stamford Bridge.
As a Chelsea player he has won the Premier League and he won the Europa League. He has played over 200 games for Chelsea, scoring 43 goals and providing 28 assists.

It is expected that Pedro will sign a multi-year deal with AS Roma, though the transfer could be called off due to the winger’s recent shoulder injury.
The winger suffered a dislocated shoulder in the final minutes of their lost FA Cup final against Arsenal. The 33-year-old has been successfully operated on his shoulder and now faces a six to eight week recovery period.
