He explained that the registration process of a land line was different from that of a mobile phone, adding that with the land line, it is more of a collective public property where anyone can pick it up and or call whoever but with the mobile phone, it has the personal Identification number (PIN) which is allocated to one person and not a collective product.

“Whatever relationship you have with whoever, it does not include personal access like your mobile phone. So, Anybody whose interest is in your phone has a mental problem,” he said.

Marriage Counselor also stated that those who do not have password on their phones are a disgrace to the tele-communication world.

He said it is also a disrespect for spouses to pick phone calls of their partners, adding that his wife does not pick his calls.

Surprisingly, he said he had secrets on his phone and which he enjoys having it there, suggesting that people should know how to keep secrets in a relationship.

Also, George Lutterodt said he will never give his phone to his wife to call somebody, stating that it is poverty that allows a woman who does not have call credit to ask her husband to give her his phone to make a call.

He said he will not console his partner if she takes his phone to read messages that makes her cry, stating that everyone should stick to their own mobile phones.

Meanwhile, he said it was also a criminal offence and an illegal action for one to pick their partner’s phone, saying that it is against the law and must be punished because it is an invasion of privacy.
