Ghanaians have queued at various polling stations across the country to elect a president and members of parliament to govern the country for the next four years.

Ghanaians on social media are giving their thoughts about the process.

Below are some of the comments:

President and flagbearer for the NPP, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo posted a photo of himself and his wife Rebecca Akufo Addo casting their vote at Kyebi in the Abuakwa north constituency in the Eastern region.

Former President John Mahama posted a photo of himself voting at the Bole District Assembly Polling Centre in the constituency in the Savanna Region.

Vice president Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia posted a photo of him voting at the Kperiga D/A Primary School Polling Station in Walewale in the North East Region.

The Electoral Commission (EC) has confirmed that it has identified some of its officers who have been tampering with ballot papers in the ongoing elections in the Awutu Senya West and Bawku Central constituencies in the Central and Upper East regions respectively.
The EC says it has consequently removed those officers who were allegedly tampering with the Presidential ballot paper.
