PNC: Bernard Mornah loses chairmanship to Dani Baah; others

National Chairman of the Peoples National Convention (PNC), Bernard Mornah has lost his chairmanship to Moses Dani Baah at the just ended elections.

At the end of the election, Bernard Mornah secured 1,266 whiles Moses Dani Baah had 1,297 votes.

On the other hand, the party elected David Apasera as its flagbearer with 1,315 votes, his opponents, Sampson Asaki Aringobit had 789 votes, whiles Rev. Samuel Adjei secured 4,65 votes.

The party held its congress on September 30, 20202 to elect its flag bearer for the 2020 presidential election and national executive officers to steer the affairs of the party for the next four years.

Others who secured positions in the party were Janet Asana Nabila, who is the General Secretary and Yakubu Faharudeen who is also the Deputy General Secretary.

Abass Nuhu is the National Organiser, Hadaya Ibrahim is the Women Organiser and Mark Awusi is the National Youth Organiser.

Meanwhile, David Apasera takes over from Edward Mahama.
