Politicians told to desist from bribery and corrupt practices

 


The Founder and Director of Outreach Africa Vocational Institute (OAVI), Dr. Dan Owusu Asiamah has counseled politicians to desist from bribery and corrupt practiced that impoverish and destroy nations. 

He also called on Ghanaians to do away with petty partisan politics but to rather cultivate a great sense of patriotism for the country's development.

Dr. Asiamah stressed that there is too much covetousness in the country, adding that the inordinate affection for money and other material things are getting out of proportion. 

Dr. Dan Owusu Asiamah, the Founder and Director of Outreach Africa Vocational Institute (OAVI) gave the advice at the 5th Graduation Ceremony of the School at Takoradi over the weekend.

Outreach Africa Vocational Institute (OAVI) is the first and only vocational institute in the western region that offers free vocational training to orphans, poor and the needy in the society.

The school was established in February 2009 to offer vocational and technical training to Ghanaians free of charge.

Since its establishment, the school has produced about 946 graduands who have been prepared and transformed for a better future.

At the graduation ceremony, 50 of the graduands were awarded with cash prizes, sewing machines, hair dryers, burners and gas cylinders for academic excellence and punctuality.

Dr. Dan Owusu Asiamah, Founder and Director of Outreach Africa Vocational Institute (OAVI), said as Ghanaians we should reflect soberly at how best we can help the marginalized who are living in abject poverty.

The School Prefect Grace Attipoe in an interview expressed appreciation to the school authority and encouraged Ghanaians to enrol at OAVI for better future.
