Prampram: Apostolic Church Ghana Divine Assembly holds pre-Christmas convention

The Prampram District Head  of the Apostolic Church Ghana, Pastor Godfred Didipey, has urged the opposition National Democratic Congress to use legal means is seeking fairness and justice in this year’s general elections, since the resort to demonstrations and violence by some party faithfuls, could detail the peace of the Country.

Speaking at this year’s Pre-Christmas convention, organized by the Divine Assembly of the church in Miotso in the Ningo Prampram District, Pastor Didipey also called on the Electoral Commission to do the needful in ensuring equity and fairness.

Preaching on the need for Christians to love each other irrespective of their political or religious affiliations, Rev Didipey, called for the church to continue praying to ensure the country’s peace is not affected by recent happenings, since Christ, who is known as the Prince of Peace, died to ensure mankind lives in peace.

This year’s 3 -day Pre-Christmas convention by the Divine Assembly of the Apostolic Church Ghana,  which was under the theme “Unto Us a Son is Born,” was climaxed with a Thanksgiving Service by leasers and congregation, who were clad in their white apparel to celebrate the birth of Christ.

Presiding Elder of the church, Albert Shardey, stressed the need for Christians to use the celebration of the birth and death of Christ as a point of call in showing love to the vulnerable and one another.

He said  with the country experiencing a torrid 2020 year, there was the need for the church to offer praises to God for all the goodness enjoyed by the country throughout the year.
