Ramadan: President Mahama Extends Warm Wishes to Muslims Across Ghana

As the holy month of Ramadan begins, John Dramani Mahama has extended heartfelt greetings to Muslims across Ghana, wishing them a peaceful, spiritually fulfilling, and blessed observance.

In a statement released on Friday, February 20, President Mahama and his wife, Lordina Mahama, prayed for Allah’s guidance and blessings for the Muslim community throughout the sacred period of fasting, prayer, and reflection.

Describing Ramadan as a period of deep spiritual significance, President Mahama said the holy month represents “a special time; a month of reflection, renewal, and coming together as one community.”

“Let us strengthen the bonds that bind us and deepen our sense of togetherness across our beloved nation,” he urged.

Concluding his message, President Mahama extended warm wishes to Muslim families nationwide.

“From my family, we wish you a spiritually fulfilling and blessed Ramadan. Ramadan Mubarak! May Allah accept your worship.”

The message comes as Muslims across Ghana prepare to observe the traditional thirty-day fast, marked by prayers, charity, and acts of compassion, in keeping with the values of peace, unity, and self-discipline that define the holy month of Ramadan.
