Vice President and flagbearer of the ruling New Patriotic Party has received praise from the Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II for his humility as a politician.
The praise came when Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and his team as part of their 3-day campaign tour in the Ashanti Region visited the Manhyia Palace to pay homage to the overlord of the Ashanti Kingdom.
Welcoming Dr. Bawumia and his team, the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, offered words of wisdom and encouragement to Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.
He praised Dr. Bawumia’s humility, saying, ‘You haven’t changed, you’re still humble. Continue to be humble and show respect and honor to all Ghanaians.’
Otumfuo urged Dr. Bawumia to patiently explain his vision to the people, trusting that they will respond positively.
The Asantehene expressed his confidence in Dr. Bawumia’s ability to lead Ghana forward, saying, ‘If Ghanaians give you the opportunity to become the next President, I have no doubt that you will work tirelessly to implement your vision and bring prosperity to Ghana.’
Otumfuo offered his blessings and prayers for Dr. Bawumia’s future endeavors, seeking divine guidance and wisdom for the Vice President.
