VIDEO:Sarkodie never ignore my messages, he replies all – Akwaboah to critiques

Ghanaian Award Winning Highlife Musician, Gladstorm Kwabena Akwaboah Junior, popularly known as Akwaboah says Ghanaian Rapper, Michael Owusu, also known widely as Sarkodie replies him every time he sends messages or call.

According to him, there has never been a time Sarkodie saw his message and ignored it.

His comments come amidst attacks on Sarkodie by industry persons on how he relates with his colleagues when it comes to communication.

For some time, some industry persons, especially musicians have called out Sarkodie for not showing up or replying to their messages when they need him to either be on a song or for a video shoot.

Some of the Artistes include Samini, Shatta Wale, Yemi Alade, Edem, and recently Kofi Mole.

Speaking on Atinka TV’s morning show, Ghana Nie with Nana Afia Oforiwaa, Akwaboah said those who want to get Sarkodie’s attention should just know how to communicate with him.

For him, he said anytime he wants to have Sarkodie on a project, he just sends him a message and goes straight to the point with details, instead of just sending him hi and waiting for a reply.

“He has shot all my videos. When we finish the song I send it to him for him to listen and then he will ask who is shooting, then I give him details and the day we will shoot, and on the day we shoot,” he said.

When asked how he feels about critiques of Sarkodie on his way of communication with his colleagues, Akwaboah replied,”It is very unfortunate, I do not know why theirs is like that.”

He continued,“When I need something from him, I go straight to the point. Someone can send hi and wait for you to respond before they say what they want to say. For me, I just send him, Bra Mike, I have booked you for 14th February so you are doing three songs, thank you. Bra Mike, I will come home on Sunday, thank you. I say whatever I want to say and I’m gone.”

He continued that,”Go straight to the point, tell him what you want to say. If you want to go to his house on Sunday, just tell him if he is available he will let you know. Don’t go and ask him; are you available on Sunday? If he doesn’t reply then you are offended.”

Meanwhile, Akwaboah is organizing his Shades of love Programme on Valentine’s Day, February 14 at Palms Convention inside the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel.

He promised to bring in surprise Artistes on the show, urging all to attend to enjoy pure entertainment in the season of love.
