The Office of the Administrator of Stool Lands and Land Valuation Division in Sekondi has been consumed by a fire outbreak which occured Sunday morning.
The building which is over 100 years old housed a lot of records and other important documents.
Reports gathered by atinkaonline.com indicates that the entire top floor of the building with its roof has collapsed as well as other walls supporting the building.
All cadastral plans, plans of upcoming projects, stamping, documents covering stool lands in all 35 offices have been burnt to ashes.
According to a revenue officer, thousands of cedis in revenue collected from the previous week have also been lost to the fire.
