Some soldiers have stormed Ashaiman over the murder of one of their colleagues, Biney, a 22-year-old Captain with the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) Band.
According to reports, Biney was attacked and killed on Tuesday, February 28, 2023 by some armed robbers at Ashaiman.
Biney recently passed out from the Army Recruit Training School.
He was posted to Bundase Training Camp this year, having previously resided at the Teshie Barracks in Accra.
Sources say Biney was on his way to visit his family when he was attacked by a gang.
Meanwhile, on Tuesday Morning, March 7, 2023, the soldiers stormed Ashaiman and started brutalizing residents at the area where the issue occurred.
According to reports, the soldiers even stopped some residents from stepping out, while they lashed some of them with canes.
The Municipal Chief Executive and the Ghana Police Service is yet to officially comment on the matter.
