Information reaching Atinkaonline.com indicates that a Dentist and his assistant at St. Paul’s Dental Clinic at Swedru in the Central Region are in the grip of the Police over the death of a fresh SHS graduate.
Mumuni Iddisah, father of the late Bright Balugu, a 19year old SHS leaver from Akroso Senior High School confirmed to Atinka News’ Vincent Kwofie that, his son after completing school on Wednesday, 20th September,2023 complained of toothache and was taken to St Paul’s Dental Clinic for treatment.
Mumuni Iddisah alleged that the dentist who treated his son, Balugu, forcibly extracted his teeth, causing him to bleed to death.
“Sad news, just lost my adopted son after completing SHS yesterday. I adopted this boy at the age of 2yrs and he is now 19 yrs. The Dentist attended to my boy poorly and he was bleeding profusely before we moved him to a bigger hospital. But it was too late,” Mumuni Iddisah told Vincent Kwofie.

Mumuni Iddisah added that his son Bright Balugu was pronounced dead by doctors at the Swedru Government Hospital after they rushed him to the facility because he had lost so much blood.
“Thank God the Dentist and his assistant have been arrested assisting the police in investigation,” he added.
The body of the late Bright Balugu according to information intercepted by Atinkaonline has been transferred to the Police Hospital for autopsy.
