Support Miss Ghana pageant to project Ghana internationally – Inna Patty

The Chief Executive Officer of Miss Ghana Foundation, Inna Patty, has urged the Ghanaian media to support the Foundation to sell Ghana in a bid to make Ghana, the “African Tourism Hub”.

According to her, every organization has its challenges, but the media often feed much on the negatives rather than helping to project the positives that would help the course of our dear nation.

“Ghana can also win Miss World, once the media plays its rightful role in positively projecting Ghana…Let’s keep the dream of other young ladies alive to become Miss Ghana let’s not kill their dream.” She said this at the Miss Ghana 2020 press launch held at the Tang Palace Hotel Roman Ridge Accra.

Speaking at the 63rd edition press launch, Inna Patty urged every eligible young lady of Ghanaian origin to take this unique opportunity presented by the upcoming auditions.

“Maximize your potentials as a contestant, regional or National Queen and become a better person through this opportunity to support others in your small way,” she said.

The Miss Ghana Foundation is the outreach wing of the Miss Ghana organization that oversees the social intervention and humanitarian responsibilities of the group and equips young women with the necessary skills to be discerning and functional in society.

For many years, the Foundation has carved an impressive niche as that body that generates awareness to various socio-economic problems, collaborates with government institutions and corporate firms in sending relief to various communities across the country.

According to Inna Patty, Miss Ghana 2020 is determined by finding young women who are really passionate about what the Miss Ghana Brand symbolizes. Patriotic young ladies who are ready to carry the Ghana flag with purpose and pride both at home, abroad and for the rest of their lives.

‘’I know there are beautiful, cultured, intelligent and disciplined young ladies out there. Please do join the Miss Ghana wagon; so together, we can fulfill our shared interest,’’ she added.
2019 was the engagement of all stakeholders through the introduction of the Miss Ghana voting app.
This year, the voting concept continues with a slight modification. Voting shall constitute 40% of the qualifying criteria to selecting the eventual sixteen (16) contestants and final winner of Miss Ghana 2020 Competition.
Voting ends at 22:00pm on night of the grand finale.
There shall be only one audition in the Greater Accra Region on 29th February 2020  at Tang Palace Hotel.
