The Lolonyo Cultural Group and the Management of Ishmaila Midodzie, contestant number 40 of Atinka TV’s Tobvital Atinka Kids Dance has apologised to the public, especially the Management, organizers, viewers and supporters of the show for her demeaning comments on stage last Saturday.
After giving a wild performance and being praised by the judges, Ishmaila Midodzie requested for the microphone to speak and when she was given the opportunity, she said, “My name is Ishmaila Midodzie number 40, I know I will go home today, Thank You,”.
That, did not sit well with the judges since her comments insinuated the judges did not like her progress in the competition.

But in a statement, Justice Tengey, manager of Ishmaila said the team realised later that Ishmaila Midodzie was tired and could not finish her sentence.
“She intended to say ‘I will go home if you don’t vote for me’. However, we have taken full responsibility for her mistake on stage,” Justice Tengey stated.
The Manager assured that henceforth, the team will prepare her better for the stage and as well ensure such mistake never occures.
“We would also like to acknowledge the overwhelming support that we receive from your management together with the exposure you have given us through your media. We are really grateful,” he stated.
Tobvital Atinka Kids Dance was launched on Saturday, March 4, 2023 at the Sika Hall, inside the Head Office of Atinka Media Village.
The reality show for children seeks to harness the dancing potential of children between the ages of five (5) to ten (10) years.
The winner of the competition will take home a cash prize of GHC10,000 and a set of educational materials.
The first runner-up will receive a GHC8,000 cash prize and a set of educational materials, while the second runner-up will receive GHC6,000 in cash and a set of educational materials.
In addition to the above, several consolation prizes will also be awarded along the way.
