Tobvital Atinka Kids Dance: Spotlight on Nicholina Joella and Gabriel Ahiagbe

All too soon, the Tobital Atinka Kids Dance is coming to an end and finalists are preparing towards the Grand finale which will be held on Sunday, May 28, 2023 at the National Theatre.

At this point, it has become important for the public to know how finalists have fared from the beginning of the show till now.

Nicholina Joella Tanoh, #12 is from Queen Esther International School at Kasoa, Appiah Junction.

Nicholina Joella Tanoh came prepared and right at the audition, she made a statement with her smart dance to go through the audition and also, at the launch, she performed well.

Throughout the weeks, she also gave her best in order to ski evictions.

The Highlight of her performance is when she danced with her trainer and when she did Wendy Shay’s ‘Soldier”.

Gabriel Ahiagbe, #37
Gabriel Ahiagbe, right from the auditions exerted some energy in his dance skills and gave the audience a thrilling performance.

He has maintained his pace from the launch of the show till date.

Gabriel is one of the guy’s who has really entertained the audience, even those who came to support his contenders.

The Highlight of his performance is when he did the traditional dance in a beautiful traditional costume and the other time when he did a local dance with ewe drums and tunes.

66 Children, both groups and individuals entered the Tobvital Atinka Kids Dance competition.

Over the weeks, those who did not perform up to expectations and those who had little or limited votes and placed at the bottom of the voting chart were evicted.

All too soon, 30 contestants have been able to reach this far and are heading to the Grand Finale which will be held at the National Theatre on Sunday, May 28,2023.

Meanwhile, the tickets of the grand finale would be sold at the entry and the public is encouraged to take note.

Voting is still ongoing and the public is encouraged to vote for their favourite contestants on *713*203# on all networks to keep them at the top at the Grand Finale.

Tobvital Atinka Kids Dance was launched on Saturday, March 4, 2023 at the Sika Hall, inside the Head Office of Atinka Media Village.

The reality show for children seeks to harness the dancing potential of children between the ages of five (5) to ten (10) years.

The winner of the competition will take home a cash prize of GHC10,000 and a set of educational materials.

The first runner-up will receive a GHC8,000 cash prize and a set of educational materials, while the second runner-up will receive GHC6,000 in cash and a set of educational materials.

In addition to the above, several consolation prizes will also be awarded along the way.
