Tobvital Atinka Kids Dance: Spotlight on Ruby Addo, I Am Azonto, Jackline Ofori and Abena Nhyira

All too soon, the Tobital Atinka Kids Dance is coming to an end and finalists are preparing towards the Grand finale which will be held on Sunday, May 28, 2023 at the National Theatre.

At this point, it has become important for the public to know how finalists have fared from the beginning of the show till now.

Ruby Addo, #4, is from Kids Hearts School at Dome.

She started slowly at the audition and was picked. However, with time, she evolved and she thrilled the audience at eviction shows which enabled her to go through all to this stage.

The highlight of Ruby’s performance was when she did the traditional dance, she shocked her fans with her energy and costume.
Another highlight was when she did the lookalike performance where she performed sister Afia’s ‘E dey shake”.

I am Azonto, #34, are from Vision Seed La Salem Park.
I am Azonto, a Group of two dancers started with fireworks from the audition of the project till now.
Over the weeks, they have matched up with their mates and given audience quality entertainment till date.
The Highlight of their performance is when they performed the traditional dance with their remarkable costume and when they did a performance depicting the Indian culture, clad in their Indian costume.

Jackline Ofori Agyenfra, #63, is a student of the A.N. T Experimental Primary School, Caprice.

Jackline Ofori Agyenfra, has been smart from the beginning of the show.
For Jackline, she did not have to wait for the competition to get tough to show her capabilities, she delivered right at the go.
The Highlight of her performance was when she did the dance-hall performance in her smart looking jeans costume.

Abena Nhyira Amoako,#19, is a student of Unity Star of Hope, Dansoman Glefe.

Abena Nhyira Amoako, the talk of town contestant, started slowly at the auditions but somehow managed to impress the judges to qualify for the show.
With time, she gathered energy and improved every week to escape eviction.
The Highlight of her performance was when she did the dancehall performance in her smart all black costume and when she did the apatampa dance with her group.

66 Children, both groups and individuals entered the Tobvital Atinka Kids Dance competition.

Over the weeks, those who did not perform up to expectations and those who had little or limited votes and placed at the bottom of the voting chart were evicted.

All too soon, 30 contestants have been able to reach this far and are heading to the Grand Finale which will be held at the National Theatre on Sunday, May 28,2023.

Meanwhile, the tickets of the grand finale would be sold at the entry and the public is encouraged to take note.

Voting is still ongoing and the public is encouraged to vote for their favourite contestants on *713*203# on all networks to keep them at the top at the Grand Finale.

Tobvital Atinka Kids Dance was launched on Saturday, March 4, 2023 at the Sika Hall, inside the Head Office of Atinka Media Village.

The reality show for children seeks to harness the dancing potential of children between the ages of five (5) to ten (10) years.

The winner of the competition will take home a cash prize of GHC10,000 and a set of educational materials.

The first runner-up will receive a GHC8,000 cash prize and a set of educational materials, while the second runner-up will receive GHC6,000 in cash and a set of educational materials.

In addition to the above, several consolation prizes will also be awarded along the way.
