Tobvital Atinka Kids Dance: Star Boy saved again

Fans of Kelvin Opoku, known on stage as Star Boy could not hold back their joy when he was saved again from eviction on Saturday, April 1, 2023.

Saturday’s show saw the kids display their dance talents with Dancehall music aside the display of costume.

At the end of the show, 15 contestants including Star Boy were called up for eviction and this was the second time Star Boy was up for eviction.

You recall that on Saturday, March 25,2023, Star Boy wept on stage to escape eviction from the show.

He was amongst the bottom 10 contestants who were up for eviction after Saturday’s show.

But right before the judges were given the opportunity to save four contestants, Star Boy who was scared to be ousted from the show broke into tears.

He cried such that even the Judges and parents of other contestants became emotional about the situation.

Nonetheless, Star Boy, together with the nine other contestants were saved on the night.

This time, Star Boy who danced extremely well walked confidently to the stage was saved by one of the judges and his fans were overly excited.

Others who were up for eviction but were also saved were MG Dancers, Jacqueline Ofori Agyeman, Stephen Agyeman, the Dancing prophet, Aaron Adonten, Adu Patrick, Ursula Appiatu, Dayina Agyekum and Stephen Agyeman.

At the end of the Dancehall competition, MG Dancers were adjudged best performing Group.

Emmanuella Akweley Martey was named the Best Female Dancer while the Best Male Dancer went to Stephen Agyeman.

Darius Quartey was the Best Costumed contestant on the night.

Tobvital Atinka Kids Dance was launched on Saturday, March 4, 2023 at the Sika Hall, inside the Head Office of Atinka Media Village.

The reality show for children seeks to harness the dancing potential of children between the ages of five (5) to ten (10) years.

The winner of the competition will take home a cash prize of GHC10,000 and a set of educational materials.

The first runner-up will receive a GHC8,000 cash prize and a set of educational materials, while the second runner-up will receive GHC6,000 in cash and a set of educational materials.

In addition to the above, several consolation prizes will also be awarded along the way.

Tobvital Multivitamin (Drop, Syrup, and Tablets) is the show’s title sponsor.

Top Choco, Flora Tissue, Givers Clean Care and Antiseptic, Acqua Blue Mineral Water, Tobin Gripe Water, Entramol, Foligrow Junior Plus are the main sponsors and Puma Drinks.
