In a heartbreaking revelation, the late Daddy Lumba’s manager, Philip Appiah Kubi, well known as Roman Fada, has confirmed that at least seven fans have tragically lost their lives following the news of the music legend’s death.
Speaking on Atinka 104.7 FM’s morning show hosted by Ekow Budu Sam, Roman Fada shared the devastating impact Lumba’s passing has had on his devoted followers.
“Since the news of Lumba’s death, we’ve received calls reporting the deaths of at least seven of his fans,”- Appiah Kubi revealed.
“These individuals were deeply connected to him, and their grief was so intense that it led to tragic consequences.”

He continued, explaining that many fans have been experiencing severe emotional distress, with some requiring medical treatment due to the shock of the news. There have also been numerous calls requesting direct support from Lumba’s team, to help calm those overwhelmed by the loss.
“Some of these fans were undergoing medical and emotional treatment after hearing the news,”- Kubi said. “In certain cases, we’ve been asked to personally speak with them to offer comfort and reassurance.”
The revelation sheds light on the profound bond Lumba shared with his followers, who viewed him not just as an artist, but as a close, personal figure in their lives. His sudden death has left many struggling to cope, with some unable to process the emotional weight of the loss.
Roman Fada concluded with a call for empathy toward the grieving fans, highlighting the overwhelming emotional toll they are facing.
“Lumba’s fans are like family to us, and their pain is something we all share,”- he said.
