We did not steal anybody's song-Krymi

One of Ghana’s fast rising music star, Krymi has debunked allegations of stealing someone’s music and making it his own.
According to him, he is am employee at a TV station aside his music and does not have time to listen and steal someone’s music.
Krymi and Dr Drew have come under social media attack for allegedly stealing parts of someone’s music and adding it to their new latest, ‘Dw3’ which is doing extremely well few works after its release.
Speaking on Atinka Radio’s Drive Talk, hosted by Candyman, Krymi stated that,” We didn’t steal any music…people jabbed me but I kept quiet. The song was for Music Producer, Kaywa and he gave it to us. I am an MCR technician at Max TV and I dont have time to go and check for people’s song to steal it. Whatever you feel, talk to Kaywa because he introduced us to the song.. ”
Meanwhile, Krymi, whose phone had been stolen and phoneless said although a lot of women have offered to buy him one, he rejected the offer because he is not ready for trouble.
“They have offered to buy it for me but I have rejected because at the moment I accept I will be in trouble,” he said.
He added that, “I connect with my fans and I’m learning gradually. I have about 60, 000 followers on IG… But twitter is not good because I’m not active there. For Facebook, I have over 1,000 requests day to day and I cannot accept more request because I have reached the limit. So they have to follow me on my fan page.”
To those who feel Krymi sounds like a woman, he replied that, “My voice sounds like a woman but I am not..My voice is my uniqueness..”
He also said that he is ready to collaborate with any artist irrespective of the genre of music they do in order to promote Ghana music.
“I want to be able to link up with almost all the artists…I dont really mind, any artists including gospel,” he added.
Although most of his colleagues have left Kaywa, he said, “I have decided to stay to learn and become a better artist ..”
He called on all Ghanaian artists to support each other in order to push Ghanaian music.
“Let us support each other in the industry. We lack togetherness..We need to put our minds together to say we are all in the industry. Irrespective of our differences in choice of songs lets push Ghanaian songs,” he added.
As a nominee of the ‘Best male vocalist’ on the 3music Awards list, Krymi was hopeful of bagging the award and other awards.
“We are all winners but to be nominated with only 2 songs it means that God is big so we can win. Let’s vote so we can win.. We have new songs coming. Hoping to drop about four new songs.. I’m working with Kaywa to do more songs,” he said.
He also stated that he wants to push his singles enough before he releases an album so that all the songs on the album will be relevant to his fans, adding that a collaboration with Efya wont be bad.
