'Weed' pastor remanded; to reappear in court on June 23

The self-acclaimed man of God, Apostle Kwabena Owusu Adjei who was arrested early Tuesday morning after threatening President of the Republic of Ghana Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and the EC Boss, Jean Mensah has been remanded.
An Accra-based Circuit Court, presided over by His Honour Mr Emmanuel Essandoh remanded the 56-year-old Apostle into police custody after he pleaded not guilty to three charges to wit; threats of death, offensive conduct conducive to the breach of peace and possession of narcotic drugs contrary to section 2 (1) of the PNDC Law 236/90.
Apostle Kwabena Owusu Adjei was picked up by the BNI early Tuesday Morning in the middle of an interview at his residence for issuing threats against the President of the Republic of Ghana Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and EC Boss, Jean Mensah.
In an earlier video, the prophet called the President names and issued threats against him.
He also alleged that the EC boss, Jean Mensah was planted at the EC for dubious reasons and that she will die if she continues to the bidding of the NPP.
Meanwhile, in a video, he was seen displaying a parcel of weed, looking calmer and sweating while the National Security Operatives interrogated him.
He would have to reappear in court on June 23, 2020. Detective Sargeant Frederick Sarpong is the prosecuting officer in this case.
