We’ll support the private sector to thrive- GJA boss assures at Adom Group Asedakese

The President of the Ghana Journalist Association Albert Kwabena Dwumfour, has given the assurance that the association will do everything possible to support local businesses to thrive

“We do appreciate the contributions of the private sector in the area of job creation.” “Job creation reduces insecurity, so, Mr. Chairman, as an association, we would be doing a disservice to this nation if we do not promote and protect local businesses to thrive,” said Mr. Dwumfour.

Albert Kwabena Dwumfour was speaking at the annual Thanksgiving service dubbed ASEDAKESE, organized by the Adom Group of Companies at the Church of Pentecost—East Legon Worship Centre on Saturday.

According to him, the private sector is the engine of growth, and every nation’s success and development are dependent on its booming private sector.

“The Adom Group Leadership, is no exception. Being part of the private sector and having contributed its quota to the development of the country, let me assure you that the GJA will prioritize the Group in all our development programs to help promote the institution and ensure it’s growth and development,” Mr Dwumfour said.

“As journalists, or as GJA, one of our cardinal responsibilities is to protect and promote the interests of local companies that are legitimately working to complement the efforts of government.” “When I say governments, I don’t mean only this government but all governments in power,” he added.

Mr Dwumfour commended the Adom Group for instating the “Aseda Kase3” festival adding that it was a great initiative as I said earlier and we must support it .

“Let’s all cultivate the habit of Thanksgiving since it is our cardinal duty as Christians and as Children of God,” he said

The Chief Executive Officer of the Adom Group of Companies, Dr. Bright Adom, speaking to the media, was grateful to God for how far he has brought the company and also appealed to government to put in measures to assist the private sector in the country.

He further touched on the increase in housing deficit in the country and pledged the company’s commitment to building more affordable houses for Ghanaians.

Adom Group of Companies is made up of Adom City Estate Company Ltd., Orel City Company Ltd., Adom Group Charity, and ANB Properties.

According to him, quality is important and cannot be compromised adding “We will pursue quality with affordability. That is where we have carved a niche for our brand in the industry”
