Zoomlion fumigates 114 Senior High Schools in Eastern Region

Zoomlion Ghana Limited has begun a 2-day fumigation exercise of Senior High Schools in the Eastern Region against bedbugs and other viruses. The exercise is part of a nationwide exercise in collaboration with the Ghana Education Service (GES) . The 114 SHSs include both private and public to ensure a conducive environment for students when school reopens. This is the third time  Zoomlion  is fumigating various senior high schools in the region. Addressing the media,  Communications Officer of Zoomlion Ghana Limited, Jeffrey Tetteh said the focus was on the control of bedbugs that had invaded schools in the country. He explained that all classrooms, dormitories, dining and assembly halls, administration blocks, and other spaces of each school would be fumigated The Assistant Headmaster of Ghana Senior High School, Frederick Owusu expressed gratitude for the gesture, adding that the effects of bedbugs on the students would be minimised. He also noted that the fumigation exercise would allay fears of parents and guardians of the COVID-19 pandemic when it was time for school reopening. Ghana| Atinkaonline.com
