The John Evans Atta Mills Memorial Heritage (JEAMMH) has announced a lineup of activities to mark the 13th anniversary of the passing of Ghana’s late President, Prof. John Evans Atta Mills.
In a statement by the Chairman of the Memorial Heritage, Hon. Alex Segbefia, the commemorative events will begin with a public lecture on Tuesday, July 22, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at the University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA).
A solemn wreath-laying and remembrance ceremony is scheduled for Thursday, July 24, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. at Asomdwe Park, the final resting place of the former President.
The week of reflection and remembrance will culminate in the annual Atta Mills Hockey Tournament on Saturday, July 26, 2025.
Hon. Segbefia extended an open invitation to the public, encouraging all Ghanaians to take part in the events to honor the enduring legacy and values of the late President.
