2023 Pharma Awards: Tobinco wins Entrepreneur of the Year, grabs 5 other awards

Elder Nana Amo Tobbin I, Executive Chairman of the Tobinco Group, was named Entrepreneur of the Year at the 5th edition of the Ghana Pharma and Healthcare Awards, held over the weekend at the Kempinski Hotel Gold Coast City Accra.

The Ghana Pharma Awards provides a platform to recognize individuals and companies that play a significant role in the growth and development of the pharmaceutical industry.

A member of the Tobinco Group, Entrance Pharmaceuticals & Research Centre, producer of Ghana’s number one Malaria drug, Lufart, won the Excellence in Health, Safety Environment, and Quality and Excellence in Contract Services and Outsourcing Awards.

Tobinco Pharmaceuticals Limited (TPL), won Excellence in Business Awards, Exporter of the Year Awards, and the Indigenous Company’s the Year Awards.

Elder Dr. Samuel Nana Amo Tobbin I is the Entrepreneur of the Year.

At the 2021 Pharma Awards, the Executive Chairman of the Tobinco Group,  Elder Dr. Nana Amo Tobbin I, won the CEO of the Year.

Elder Dr. Nana Amo Tobbin I, not only demonstrated excellence in production but also in the development of the future in general by establishing the Entrance University College of Health Sciences, where students receive Quality Pharma Training.

He congratulated Chairman Tobbin, and his wife Mrs Araba Sika Tobbin, and dedicated the awards to all hardworking staff and loyal customers.

He also urged their customers to keep giving them feedback to keep them on top of the Pharma list in Africa and further  Ghanaians and Africans to patronize Tobinco Products since they are the best on the Market.

“The awards did not  come by chance but hard work and dedication. Lufart has come to stay. We believe in innovation so Ghanaians and Africa at large should watch out for more from us. We are grateful” – Dr. Mensah said.

The Deputy Minister of Health, Mahama Asei Seini, commended the winners and urged practitioners to continue prioritizing safety as Government remains committed to supporting the industry.

He also urged industry players to be innovative and take advantage of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to make health delivery effective in Ghana.

 “The future of the Pharma industry is in our hands,” he urged.

The Founder and Leader of the Liberal Party of Ghana (LPG), Dr. Kofi Akpaloo commended Tobinco for winning the Entrepreneur of the Year saying he is the leading name in the Pharma Industry.

He, therefore, urged Ghanaians to patronize his drug as they are of good quality.
