The Queens, who qualified for the auditions for Atinka TV’s award-winning reality show, Obuasi Gringo Bitters Di Asa Season 8, have expressed their readiness to give Ghanaians real entertainment during the main competition.
This was when they arrived at the headquarters of Atinka Media Village (AMV) on Wednesday, August 28, 2024 prior to the main competition..
Out of the 60, 27 queens from regions with airports came through with local airlines, while the rest came by road.
At the Kotoka International Airport, they all met and exchanged stories about their flight experiences and excitement for the show.
According to them, it was their first time boarding a plane, describing how anxious but excited they were when they got on.
They couldn’t hide their gratitude, so they thanked the show’s organizers for such a wonderful experience.
Meanwhile, they appealed to their family and friends to vote for them when voting starts to enable them to get far in the competition.
The luxurious Di Asa House at Alajo will house them all.
On Friday, May 24, 2024, the Sika Hall inside Atinka Media Village hosted the launch of the Obuasi Gringo Bitters Di Asa season 8.
This year’s Di Asa, dubbed “Dance for Peace,” seeks to promote peace and unity amongst Ghanaians as the country gears towards the presidential and parliamentary elections.
Aside from promoting peace, it will also thrill audiences with top-notch entertainment and exciting performances.
The first audition for Obuasi Gringo Bitters Di Asa season 8 took place in Nsawam on Saturday, June 1, 2024, and ended in Accra.
Meanwhile, the show’s organizers have assured the public that it will be bigger and better this season.
