The incumbent Member of Parliament for Essikado-Ketan, Joe Ghartey is optimistic about the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) emerging victorious in the December 7 polls. In his view, the government under the leadership of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo and Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has performed remarkably in addressing the various developmental challenges the country had faced over the past years.
Reckoning the effort made by the current administration Mr. Ghartey was confident that Ghanaians would once again endorse the ruling political party (NPP) with Dr Bawumia as the next President of the Republic of Ghana.
Hon Joe Ghartey said he was confident that the NPP is poised to sweep a majority of the parliamentary seats in the Western Region, adding that “the determination of the party to win the Western Region for Dr Bawumia cannot be compromised.”
Motivated by this Mr Ghartey had extended financial and logisticsl support to some constituencies across the Western Region. He began with Essikado-Ketan Constituency, and now Amenfi East, Amenfi West, Amenfi Central and Ahanta West. Other constituencies are also expected to benefit from this special initiative of Mr Ghartey.
The support was made available to the above-mentioned constituencies through the General Secretary, Mr. Justin Kodua and the Western Regional Executives of the NPP in their recent tour of some constituencies in the Western Region.
