Delegates of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Central Region have picked nomination forms for Francis Asare to seek re-election as the party’s Regional Treasurer.
The delegates, led by the Cape Coast South Constituency Chairman, Nana Mbra, and the Twifo Atti-Morkwa Constituency Chairman, Oscar Rogers, said they decided to support Mr. Asare because of what they described as his impressive performance over the past four years.
They praised his commitment to the party and said his achievements had earned him another opportunity to serve.
Former Member of Parliament for Twifo Hemang Lower Denkyira, Bright Weroko Brobbey, and former Regional Research Officer, John Mbro, also endorsed Mr. Asare’s bid.
They commended his dedication and pledged their support for his re-election.
Receiving the nomination forms, Mr. Asare thanked the delegates for their confidence in him and prayed for God’s blessings upon them.
He also called on party members to remain united as the NPP prepares for its regional executive elections.
